Center Pepin School Garden started as a paved parking area that was converted into a lush garden of 11 raised beds growing pumpkins, corn, raspberries, apples, tomatoes, herbs, potatoes, and melons! The garden is a focal point of the school community and students in grades K through 4th plant and harvest through the spring and fall. Through the generous funding of our local hospital we are able to offer cooking workshops where we prepare french fries, pizza, popcorn, bean dip, and squash smoothies from the produce that the students have grown.
