- THE GREEN TEAM is an interactive, environmental education program for Massachusetts schools—grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12—sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. THE GREEN TEAM empowers students and teachers to help the environment and slow climate change. Participants receive FREE educational resources—such as a classroom posters, lesson plans, and suggested activities—FREE recycling & composting bins, and FREE prizes at the end of the year including garden center gift cards and performances by environmental edutainers.
