School Sprouts started the Zanetti School Garden in 2009 in its original location in downtown Springfield.  The garden beds were moved to their new home at a new Zanetti School courtyard on Armory Street and have continued to thrive.  The garden was part of the after school program, which lost funding in 2018.  When Springfield became a FoodCorps site in the fall of 2018, the garden resumed growing with students and the FoodCorps Servicemembers.
